In an interview with the Deputy leader of Ikorodu-North LCDA, Hon. Prince Adeyemi Adeniran, said the unveiling of Prince Abiodun Ogunleye KJV County Home is a new complex that will be housing the legislative arm of Ikorodu North LCDA, their customary court, and also a multipurpose hall.
He said, before now, the councillors shared the same office with their Executive Chairman, Buldr. Adeola Adebisi Banjo, which did not have enough space, because the councillors did not have their individual offices in the old building, but in the new legislative building, they now have their individual offices, such that when their constituents come visiting to solicit for the development all kinds, it will be easy as against attending to them in the presence of every other colleague of councillors. So, the new legislative building will provide privacy when it comes to private discussions with the people of their constituency. “This will help the legislators to serve their communities well,” said; Hon. Prince Adeyemi Adeniran.
He expressed that the new legislative chamber has an eighteen-seater accommodation for programs that may engage more people other than the councillors may want to attend compared with their old legislative building. The customary court is also very important; Rather than taking customary court can adjudicate to Ikorodu LGA because in most cases, i.e. marital and others to adjudicate upon and other cases take a lot of time to do justice upon.
