The Executive Chairman of Ikorodu-West Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Hon. (Otunba) Sulaimon Kazeem Olanrewaju (SKO), convened the 2025 budget stakeholders consultative forum on Friday, October 25, 2024. This event occurred at the Oba Sekunmade Palace on Oba Sekunmade Road in Ipakodo, Ikorodu, Lagos State, Nigeria.
The forum engaged the Legislative Arm, Council Manager, Mr Adeola Tobun and Management Team in discussions aimed at collating the developmental priorities of the residents of Ikorodu-West, commencing from “Ward A” geopolitical zone of the Ipakodo axis under the legislative jurisdiction of Hon. Enitan Jessica Oba, who represents and serves as the Leader of the House within the legislative chamber.
This programme is scheduled for every other ward across Ikorodu-west to know and implement their areas of interest in the year 2025 budget and planning dispensation for the peaceful growth of Ikorodu-west LCDA.
This initiative’s objective is to foster collaboration among community stakeholders, including local leaders, chiefs, and residents, to promote peaceful coexistence and advance the overall development of Ikorodu-West.
After diverse discussions in this forum, outcomes became solution-driven to enhance the rapid development of Ikorodu-west at large.
“Create more working relationships with the Lagos State Ministries”, the Sekunmade of Ipakodo, Oba Engr. Bashiru Aremu Sotonwa urged the Council Chairman, Hon. SKO to foster rapid development for peaceful coexistence.
