Senator Mukail Adetokunbo Abiru, FCA, representing the Lagos East Senatorial District, has successfully distributed over 12,000 food packs to vulnerable individuals. In addition, he has provided 75 cows and 200 rams to traditional leaders, party officials, religious leaders, and community stakeholders across the five Local Government Areas (LGAs) and 11 Local Council Development Areas (LCDAs), encompassing a total of 90 geopolitical wards.

The Ileya food packages, which include rice and Garri, were engraved with the names of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Senator Abiru. This engraving underscores the senator’s commitment to the Renewed Hope Agenda and the national food security initiatives.

The initiatives are designed to provide support to constituents, with a particular emphasis on those in vulnerable situations, including individuals with disabilities, senior citizens, women, and unemployed youth.

In an interview with the distinguished Senator Mukhail Adetokunbo Abiru, FCA, he expressed that the initiative to distribute 12,000 food packs to vulnerable individuals, along with 75 cows and 200 rams to the traditional rulers, is aimed at optimally promoting prosperity throughout the Lagos East Senatorial District.

This effort also supports His Excellency President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, in his endeavours to address the challenges posed by the current reforms within the Federal Republic of Nigeria, which are deemed essential.

The Lagos East Senatorial District encompasses five local government areas (LGAs), namely Epe, Ibeju-Lekki, Ikorodu, Kosofe, Shomolu LGAs, and 11 Local Council Development Areas (LCDAs) which means dealing with 90 Wards.

Starting with our political structure without no partisan across the 90 neighborhoods, a lots of people also benefited randomly via online registration.

“You don’t have to belong to any Party, as long as you are residents of Lagos East Senatorial District’s Constituency, there is always a way to reach out to you”, he said.

The Senator conveyed his sincere appreciation to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for his exemplary leadership and vision, which underpin the Renewed Hope Agenda.

He also acknowledged the invaluable support of community leaders, including Prince Abiodun Ogunleye and other distinguished figures across the Lagos East Senatorial District, for their endorsement of his initiatives.

Abiru encouraged all stakeholders to collaborate with him in fostering a more prosperous future for the community.

He acknowledged the various challenges many individuals encounter and committed to taking all necessary actions to address these issues.

This dedication forms part of his broader strategy to promote sustainable community development through an array of humanitarian initiatives.
