Despite the majority of citizens being already registered for their PVC, we need to furthermore work on the unregistered masses to achieve more votes in the coming (2027) general elections, which is part of the reason why we selected you all randomly from each Ward zone that make up Ikorodu LGA.

In Ikorodu LGA, there are seven (7) Wards and eighty (80) geopolitical zones. These are ward zones to work within, which is the main reason why we’ve invited the facilitators (INEC officials) to specially sensitise them about how to properly registering the unregistered citizens, transferring PVCs for people with relocation issues, and so on.

The duration of this exercise is just four (4) months with the notification to the Seven Ward Chairmen that only full-time participants are required and not for part-time service, because the service is based on target and failure to meet the target will result in assignment dismissal, which is the reason why they have to be serious about the job.

Wasiu Shotanwa, said, it is a challenge for the residents of Ikorodu LGA to spell out what we really want. “We are doing this for the sake of Ikorodu Division at large, because when we work to achieve the result of Ikorodu becoming the next governor of Lagos State, it will give the citizens and residents confidence of witnessing Ikorodu’s rapid development in every aspect of nation building, capacity building, civilized infrastructural development and so much more, which is why the Ikorodu CVR Committee has come up with this strategic initiative”.

Moreover, if we work to achieve the vision of Ikorodu as the Governor of Lagos State, it will touch you and I, as well as everyone  residing in Ikorodu, if not directly, it will be through every councillors representing the Seven Wards.

And so what is the passport to achieving this vision? It is our PVC and how many number of voters we attain in Ikorodu will serve as what to use in negotiating the Ikorodu for Governor.
