The 75/80 Christ Apostolic Grammar School Old Students’ Association (CAGSOSA) in Iperu Remo celebrated its 45th anniversary during a reunion at the Apollo Multi-Purpose Hall on September 27, 2025. The event aimed to promote the school and honor its alumni.
In 2024, Aare Isiaka Mustapha Olaribigbe received the distinguished alumnus award during an inaugural ceremony presented by the National President of CAGSOSA, Honourable Orisalade Adetunji Taiwo.
In his welcome address, Olaribigbe reflected on the journey of the association. The current Executive Committee, inaugurated on February 15, 2022, focused on enhancing the association’s stature and unity among its members. To address low engagement, a reconciliation committee was formed, mending relationships and expanding the membership base.
The association was registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission on April 5, 2023, and a current account was established with Sterling Bank of Nigeria to ensure financial transparency. The committee has supported members in hardship, establishing a Welfare Committee for better coordination.
A Body of Trustees was inaugurated on May 15, 2023, to advise the Executive Committee, chaired by Pastor Tolani Oduekun. The alumni also continued initiatives from previous administrations, such as renovating the Home Economics Room, completed and handed over on October 15, 2023.
Lastly, sincere condolences were extended for the members who have passed away, with wishes for longevity and unity for those remaining.
