Prince Gbadebo Taofeek Oluwafemi, FCNA, an aspirant for the position of Executive Chairman of Ikorodu Local Government Area in the forthcoming Local Government elections in Lagos, formally obtained the All Progressives Congress (APC) nomination form on April 24, 2025. The form was acquired at the APC Lagos State Party Secretariat, located on Acme Road, Ikeja, Lagos State.
This significant step marks a key milestone in his preparation for the forthcoming APC Party Primary Election and the subsequent Local Government Elections scheduled for July 12, 2025.
As a civil servant, Prince Gbadebo has acknowledged the regulations set forth by the Lagos State Independent Electoral Commission (LASIEC), which mandate that all serving civil servants seeking elective office must resign their positions no later than one month prior to the election date to avoid disqualification.
“If elected as the Executive Chairman of Ikorodu Local Government Area, I intend to introduce a variety of well-structured opportunities for the residents of Ikorodu,” Prince Gbadebo affirmed.
