Honourable Prince (Dr.) Nurudeen Yekinni Agbaje, a Special Adviser on Rural Development to the Governor of Lagos State, was among the distinguished guests present on April 24th, 2025, at the commissioning of the newly constructed Executive Chairman’s Office, the renovated Administrative Block, and the newly established West End Event Centre within the Ikorodu-West Local Council Development Area.
The ceremony included an award presentation to the Council Chairman of Ikorodu West LCDA, Honorable Sulaimon Kazeem Olanrewaju (SKO), conducted by His Excellency Prince Abiodun Ogunleye, former Deputy Governor of Lagos State.
Following the award presentation, Honorable Prince (Dr.) Nurudeen Agbaje engaged in a constructive dialogue with the Executive Chairman of Ikorodu Local Government Area, Honorable Wasiu Ayodeji Adesina, focusing on the sustainable development of Ikorodu.
Ikorodu division, as a component of Lagos State, has transformed into a modern urban centre characterised by its diverse timber and commercial industries, showcasing its social influence.
Sincerely, it is appropriate to refer to Ikorodu as “Oga,” which translates to “Boss.”
