Prominent Islamic leaders, including the Grand Chief Imam of the Ikorodu Division and the Chief Imams of the Ikorodu Central Mosque, Sheikh Seifudeen Olowooribi, and Sheikh Yahya Olohunisebi Oshoala Ajagbemokeferi (Assamadaani), the Chief Imam of Oriwu Central Mosque, along with other Chief Imams from various Islamic organizations, convened with distinguished members of the Muslim community to commemorate the year 2025 HIJRAH/1447.

This gathering reflects the unity and collective commitment of the Ikorodu Division’s Sheikhs and various Islamic groups in recognizing this significant occasion within the Islamic calendar.

This initiative underscores the importance of unity and peace as its primary objectives. 

The event was held on Sunday, June 29th, 2025 at the Ikorodu Ultra Modern Town Hall, located on Olubi Street off Ayangbure Road, adjacent to Owolowo Street, in Ikorodu, Lagos State, Nigeria.
