By Araba, Olawale Enifenilanfe:

Regarding the relationship within the political arena; It is the right time for us to stay firm and be conscious about what we say and propagate as citizens. For whatever you say or mean, could be twisted or used against you.
Conflict of interest has now become a redline signal for the government, DSS, Police, the Nigerian Armed Forces, The Ikorodu Division Peace Initiative LTD/GTE (IDPIL/G) Neighbourhood watch, Onyabo, the local vigilantes and other security agencies should be on the lookout for, for peaceful coexistence.

Politics shouldn’t be a do-or-die affair between the aspirants and their followers. It should be a win-win game after the primary election. Don’t forget, “The Party decides” in line with the number of votes counted before the leadership endorsement- “This is how the win-win Party system works”.

As patriotic citizens, we must play our role with the consciousness of laying a good legacy for others to follow in accordance with the Lagos State Government slogan- “Inclusive Governance” by His Excellency Governor Babajide Olusola Sanwoolu🗽 and the Renewed Hope Agenda” by His Excellency President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR 🇳🇬.

Everyone is entitled to the “Right to Peaceful Assembly and Association” according to section 40 of the constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, knowing fully well that failure to stay or act peacefully remains aborted.

A lot of political grassroots members are suffering for what they don’t even know about based on selfish interests and the proclamation of hate speech among aspirants aspiring for position in the same political association, whereas, their interests differ.
In this regard, we must think about the protection of the grassroots politicians/vulnerable to help avoid misunderstandings that could lead to disputes in communication.
Section 37 of the Nigerian Constitution guarantees privacy protection to citizens in their homes, correspondence, telephone conversations, and telegraphic communications. At the same time, the Information Act practices should be allowed for clarification.
Protect the masses and not hinder their dreams/vision- “Proactive leaders invest in humanity”- Son of nobody can become somebody. Let the poor breathe!

I hereby appeal to the good people of Ikorodu division from the Central LG, West, North, Igbogbo-Bayeiku, Ijede, and Imota LCDA to go and register their NIN today in preparation for your voter’s card- If you don’t vote, you’ll have no right to complain. “YOUR VOTE IS YOUR RIGHT!”.
So help us God🙏.
