Babawale Bisiriyu Alogba was born to the distinguished ALOGBA family from Ikorodu, Lagos State, and the ODUWAIYE family from Ishagamu, Ogun State, Nigeria.
He commenced his primary education at Ipakodo, Ebute, before advancing to further education, obtaining his first School Leaving Certificate from St. Margaret Nursery/Primary School in Ipakodo. His junior secondary education was completed at Mayflower School in Ikenne, Ogun State, followed by his senior secondary education at Model College Igbogbo, Lagos State.
Mr. Alogba earned both his undergraduate and master’s degrees from the esteemed Olabisi Onabanjo University (OOU), where he obtained a Bachelor of Science in Banking and Finance, and a Masters in Business Administration.
His pursuit of academic excellence led him to Glasgow Caledonian University in Scotland, where he received a Master of Science in International Banking and Finance, The only Nigerian that graduated in his class.
Additionally, he became a Chartered Banker (Associate) in the United Kingdom.
As an experienced banker and financial investment expert, Mr. Alogba has held various managerial roles in both the private and public sectors and has participated in training programs in Lagos State and internationally.
In his business endeavours, he offers services in financial consulting, auditing, hospitality, and real estate.
Politically, Mr Alogba has served on the All Progressive Congress (APC) LGA Executive in Ikorodu West LCDA for two terms. He has aspired for the position of Executive Chairman of Ikorodu West LCDA on two occasions but was advised by party stakeholders to withdraw, a recommendation he accepted graciously in the spirit of sportsmanship and respect for the party’s interests, which he believes take precedence over personal ambitions. His decisions to withdraw were based on the conviction that true success is ultimately in the hands of a higher power.
He also contested for the position of House of Assembly to represent Ikorodu Constituency 1.
The time is ripe for Babawale Bisiriyu Alogba to solidify party loyalty by aspiring for the Chairmanship position of Ikorodu Local Government.
