The Executive Chairman of Ikorodu-West Local Council Development Area, Otunba (Hon.) Sulaimon Olanrewaju Kazeem, FCA, formally inaugurated the reconstruction of Fela Ahmed Road and the restoration of the collapsed culverts at Taiwo Molajo Street in the Agric area of Ikorodu West on Friday, February 14, 2025, at the Fela Ahmed/Aunty Kenny junction.
This initiative is designed to enhance the road infrastructure that serves as a vital connectivity route for surrounding communities.
The project will encompass Fela Ahmed Road, which measures a total of 200 meters, and Taiwo Molajo Street, which extends 300 meters, culminating in a combined total of 500 meters of roadway targeted for improvement.
The completion of this construction project is expected within three months. Community leaders and residents are encouraged to collaborate with the contractors to promote a peaceful coexistence.
Furthermore, the establishment of a four-member monitoring committee is recommended to facilitate effective communication between the community and the local government.
