In alignment with the principle that says, “what is worth doing, is worth doing well,” the Executive Chairman of Ikorodu Local Government Area, Hon. Wasiu Ayodeji Adesina, has significantly transformed the Ikorodu LGAâs Secretariat building.
This transformation utilizes outstanding, modern building materials that enhance its official and documentation purposes.
The Executive Chairman has achieved numerous infrastructural developments within Ikorodu Central.
These include the construction of a 24-hour primary healthcare services facility, educational classrooms equipped with chairs and tables, a digital literacy empowerment program, provision of free GCE and JAMB forms for secondary students, Youth empowerment initiatives, and the establishment of convenient market spaces, among others.
Currently, construction is underway for a new legislative building designated for the councillors representing Wards A to G, while preparations for the Ikorodu Cinema Building, which will promote arts, culture, and entertainment, are about to commence.
These initiatives exemplify his commitment to fulfilling his responsibilities, reinforcing his reputation as a leader who focused on infrastructural developmentâa tool that yields tangible results.
